Referring to your certification
Refer to your certification only for the legal entity, sites, scope and standard stated on your certificate, and only while the certificate is valid.
Do not make or allow misleading statements about your certification, or use any part of the certificate in a misleading way.
Do not use your certification in a way that brings ACS into disrepute or loses public trust.
Products, packaging and reports
Certification applies to your management system, not to your products, services or processes.
Do not put the ACS mark on a product, its packaging, or a laboratory test, calibration or inspection report.
On packaging or in accompanying information, you may state that your organisation holds a certified management system. The statement must name the certified organisation, the standard and the certification body. It must not suggest that a product, service or process is certified.
Do not put any statement of certification on a laboratory test, calibration or inspection report.
Using the ACS certification mark
Use only the mark files ACS supplies for your certification. The mark shows the standard and your certificate number.
Reproduce it at least 20 mm wide, in the approved colours or single-colour black or white, with clear space around it at least the height of the letter A.
Do not alter, crop, rotate, recolour or animate the mark.
Where your certified scope covers only part of your organisation, use the mark only in connection with that part and state the scope alongside it.
If your certification changes
If your certificate is suspended or withdrawn, its scope is reduced, or it expires, stop using the certificate, mark and advertising that refers to the affected certification, and amend your materials. Confirm to ACS in writing when asked.
Tell ACS about changes that affect your certification.
ACS may check your use of the mark and references to certification at any audit, and may act on misuse, including suspension or withdrawal of certification.
